I am Krista Mäkinen and my yogic name is Priya Jaijeet Kaur ("The Princess/Lioness who embodies the constant victory of overcoming challenges in life when she connects to God as her Beloved").

The name of my company is Varisport. However, these websites embody more of my 'mission', which took shape as a Spiritual Warrior.

Yoga teacher Noora Hartejpal writes on her website that "Kundalini yoga is also called the warrior's yoga. It means the courage to face even difficult situations, emotions and pain, and act despite them if necessary. A spiritual warrior can make difficult decisions, but not out of anger and aggression, but through compassion, courage, kindness, commitment, curiosity, wonder and gratitude."

It took me almost 50 years to find my own courage. Until then, I tried to fill all the generally accepted boots and was super sensitive to my surroundings. I tried to please everyone and not to step on anyone's toes. What happened then?

I'm still super sensitive and I've always been a warrior. I have approached almost everything competitively and with rage. I have learned to hide or disguise my weaknesses. The fighting spirit has been supported, or actually calmed, by more than 30 years of taekwondo.

I started to be guided towards spirituality when I had to face difficult things and the old strategies weren't enough. From there, a direction was gradually found. Dragon-sized fears turned out to be small lizards. Spiritual warriorship is above all based on humility - accepting things as they really are. Then you don't have to fight against anything, but can approach everything with interested compassion and as an opportunity to learn something new.
